The transparent varnishes which are the object of the present industrial invention are characterized in that if, for example, they are spread on the metallized surface of a transparent or opaque vacuum-metallized glass, they take on the ability to block electromagnetic radiation which, deriving from the sun or else from some other energy or heat source, is reflected and retransmitted at the back by the surface itself. In this way, inter alia, it becomes possible to create multicoloured decoration which is original and of excellent aesthetic effect on reflecting metal or vacuum- metallized objects.
