The holder for reading books and magazines has a numbr of openings (2) through the support (1) plate. The holder has at least two ins (3) and at least one pressure rod (4) and a mouth rod (11) with a thickened free end (12) of a material with a high friction coefft.. The pins (3) have lateral drillings at their upper ends to take the pressure rod. The location of the pins (3) on the laying plate (1) and the height of the lateral drillings can be fixed at the laying plate (1). Pref. the support plate (1) and the pins (3) are of a transparent thermoplastic material, esp,. acrylic glass. The pressure rod (4) is a steel wire. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is for the support of books and magazines for reading, especially by the disabled with restricted movement who need to use a mouth rod to turn the pages. The system allows the severly disabled not only to read books and magazines, but also turn the pages without assistance.
