In a process to hold the position of a number of rods (3), especially in a packaging, the rods (3) are positioned and covered with a sheet material (4). The sheet material (4) is then at least partially embossed into the rods (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The method is for holding rods in place in a packaging, esp. the rods of rockets in a package of fireworks. The rocket rods are held firmly in place while packaged, can be easily removed, and the wooden rods are not affected or impair the rocket flight through the packaging.
