Run=up optimisation system for time-controlled central heating system - uses run=up time for the preceding day corrected for variable factors to calculate required run=up time

The optimisation system for run-up of the heating system at the end of a temp. run-down phase, attains a required room temp. at a defined, time point by using the measured heating up time for the preceding day. The predicted heating up time for the following day is calculated using the actual heating up time the preceding day, with correction for the external temp. the run-down temp. and the required room temp. Pref. a correction factor is provided so that the ratio of the run-up times for both days corresponds to the ratio of the logarithms of the temp. values for both days. ADVANTAGE - Ensures required room temp. is obtained at given time.
