The cabling machine for attaching a complementary piece (6) to one of the ends (4,5) of the cable (2) and/or a section of the cable (3), includes a feeder (8) and a storage area (9). The storage is in the form of a bobbin (10) mounted on a spool which is rotated by motors. The cable is fed and passes a constant tension device (11,12,13). An upper pulley (12) orients the cable towards a returning cable (14) situated at the entry to the cabling machine. Two driving belts (15,16) form a closed circuit (17,18) using driving wheels (19,19A,20,20A). The two driving belts are symmetrically placed w.r.t. each other. The cable is fed and then progresses by gravity along the vertical. There is a cutter (33) at the vertical point of the tube (32). A measured length of cable (3) is defined. The machine can handle natural strips of material such as leather and synthetic materials and can handle consecutive separate lengths of material. USE - Feeder machine for lengths or partial lengths of electric cable or synthetic/leather material with measuring and cutting ability.
