PURPOSE:To provide a raw material yard present state monitoring device to process raw material stacking and delivery information by means of a computer and output arrangement of a changing raw material pile and the shape of a raw material pile on a screen. CONSTITUTION:Information, such as the position (a starting point and a terminal point), of raw materials stacked at a yard by means of a stacker 5 and information, such as the position (a starting point and a terminal point) of the raw material delivered by a loader, are received classified by a work unit. Based on the received information, the position and a stock amount at a yard of each raw material at a raw material yard and the shape of a raw material pile are computed. During the starting of a subsequent stacking work or a delivery work, the raw material pile, the work starting position of the pile, and the stages of the raw materials are computed by a computer 2. The working ranges of the stacker 5 and the loader 7 are checked for the presence of contention therebetween, the stacking work of the stacker 5 and the delivery work of the loader 7 are controlled, and a computing result is displayed on a screen.
