PURPOSE:To readily control blooming of plant in a low cost by affecting protease inhibitor to plant. CONSTITUTION:Protease inhibitor such as inhibitor against diisopropyl fluorophosphoric acid, bestatin or serine protease is affected to plant to control blooming of plant. Effect of protease inhibitor is confirmed in a test using plant of Lemnaceae and sufficiently manifested in a low concentration not showing growth inhibition at all, thus blooming is able to be completely suppressed by selecting sort of the inhibitor.
