PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition giving a substrate having excellent transparency, heat-resistance, moisture-resistance, chemical resistance and precision moldability and excellent adhesivity of information recording film, by compounding two specific kinds of cycloolefin random copolymers. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) a cycloolefin random copolymer composed of an ethylene component and a cycloolefin component of formula I or II (n and m are 0 or positive integer; l=3; R1-R10 are H, halogen or hydrocarbon residue) and having an intrinsic viscosity [eta] of 0.05-10dl/g (at 135 deg.C in decalin) and a softening temperature (TMA) of =70 deg.C and (B) a cycloolefin random copolymer composed of an ethylene component and a cycloolefin component of formula I or II and having an intrinsic viscosity [eta]of 0.01-5dl/g (at 135 deg.C in decalin) and (TMA) of 70 deg.C. The components A and B are compounded with each other at a weight ratio (A/B) of 100/(0.1-10).
