PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of operation by taking up on a drum a metal tape having a corrugated roof support frame secured fixedly thereto at predetermined intervals to fix the frame onto a roof base member while unwinding the metal tape on a rolling truck on the roof base member. CONSTITUTION:Support frames 10 for a corrugated roof are secured fixedly to a metal tape 20a at fixed intervals to form a metal tape 20 with the support frames. Next, the metal tape 20 is taken up on a drum to form a tape drum 18 which is mounted on a box-shaped truck 16 rolling on a roof base member 14. While the drum 18 is rolled to unwound the tape only after initially setting an inking position, the tape 20 is secured fixedly to the roof base member 14 by spot welding or the like. Thus, the efficiency of operation can be improved.
