METHOD OF REINFORCING EARTH WORK FOR SUBBASE COURSE REINFORCEMENT, FILL, SLOPE REINFORCEMENT AND FORMWORK FOR CONCRETE BLOCK RETAINING WALL

PURPOSE: To accurately and simply arrange a reinforcing body and easily discharge the moisture such as the gravitational water in the reinforced earth by installing specifically shaped formworks having stacking coupling sections, overflow sections, and drain irregularities. ;CONSTITUTION: A subgrade 1a and a road body 1b are graded. Formworks 2a, 2a', 2b, 2b' are overlapped and installed at the right and left prescribed positions where a road or the like is to be formed. End sections 3a, 3b of reinforcing bodies 3 are inserted into the reinforcing body insertion sections 5 of the formworks 2a, 2b, 2a', 2b'. Ready-mixed concrete is injected and filled into the stacked formworks 2a, 2a', 2b, 2b' to form a concrete block body. A base course material is arranged between the formworks 2a, 2b formed into a concrete block to form a base course. The reinforcing bodies 3 are bonded together. These processes are repeated to lay multiple layers of the reinforcing bodies 3, thereby the road or the like having the prescribed reinforced earth is formed. The gravitational water or the like in the reinforced earth is discharged from drain irregularities in the formworks 2a, 2a', 2b, 2b'.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
