PURPOSE:To enable mass-production, to simplify the constitution, and to lower the cost by forming a step inside the entrance of the SHAKUHACHI (five holed bamboo clarinet), specifying the angle of its blow-in hole, and providing the blow hole protection part of the SHAKUHACHI by it. CONSTITUTION:The detachable mouthpiece 8 is fitted to the upper pipe 1 of the SHAKUHACHI, the step is formed inside the entrance of the SHAKUCHACHI detachably so as to determine the size of the interval between the blow hole of the mouthpiece and the blow hole of the SHAKUHACHI and stopped at a certain position, and the angle of the the blow-in hole is set to 20-30 deg. to the blow hole of a SHAKUHACHI main pipe; and the protection part for the edge 5 of the blow hole of the SHAKUHACHI is constituted by it, an opening part for blowing is constituted on the other side, and a recessed place for a knob is provided at a proper place of the mouthpiece 8. When the mouthpiece and SHAKUHACHI main body are molded out of synthetic resin, the SHAKUHACHI can be mass-produced and supplied at a low price. The mouthpiece is detached and this SHAKUHACHI is usable as an ordinary SHAKUHACHI.
