PURPOSE: To enable painting-out inside an area-limited range without being affected by already painted-out dots. ;CONSTITUTION: A painting-out area of a prescribed size is set and displayed on the dot matrix of a screen device 1, a CPU 2 decides the presence/absence of plotting dots in a designated color painted out inside the painting-out area according to the moving instruction of the painting-out area set and displayed by a pointing device 4 and based on the decided result, the non-painted dots inside the plotting dots in the painting-out area on a memory 3 or the inside of the area to be painted out is painted in the designated color.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
