STORAGE BOX WEIGHT DETECTOR OF SAFE-DEPOSIT BOX FACILITIES

PURPOSE: To improve the weight detection accuracy and reliability of a safe-deposit box with an inexpensive and simplified structure by pivoting a storage box receiving base at a pair of inclination members which can be inclined freely and relatively so that they can slide up and down. ;CONSTITUTION: A slot 27 is formed at a protruding piece 26 of a pair of inclination members 25 and a connection pin 28 is connected to them loosely. The outer edge of a pair of inclination members 25 is pivoted at brackets 31 protruding at four corners of a container receiving base 30 via a shaft 29 so that it can slide freely. Then, when a heavy valuable is stored in a storage box 5 of the container receiving base 30 and the weight of the storage box exceeds a reference, an excessive upward force is applied to a two-way member 32 and an elevator lever 33 and a compression coil spring 35 is compressed, thus causing a striker 37 to press a movable piece 39 of a limit switch 38 and hence activating the limit switch 38, preventing the carry-in control signal from the controller of an automatic carry-out/in device 4 from oscillating, operating an alarm device, and reporting the overweight of the storage box 5 to a user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
