PURPOSE: To attain miniaturization of a stereoscopic view finder capable of observing a stereoscopic video image by both eyes and viewing directly an object with simple configuration. ;CONSTITUTION: The finder is provided with liquid crystal monitors 11a, 11b displaying a video image corresponding to right and left video signals from a stereoscopic television camera to each inner screen of right and left of a view finder main body 1 and liquid crystal shutters 14a, 14b provided to a front side of the view finder main body 1 are closed to observe the video image on the liquid crystal display monitors 11a, 11b and the video image is observed via half mirrors 13a, 13b bending the video image luminous flux at a right angle and when an external field such as an object is desired to be viewed directly by eyes, the video image of the liquid crystal display monitors 11a, 11b is displayed in a black color on the entire screen or erased and the resulting image is viewed by opening the liquid crystal shutters 14a, 14b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
