PURPOSE: To enable highly accurate measurement of an online data ideal for a process control by correlatively analyzing output value of torque working on a pair of front and rear blade wheels separately. ;CONSTITUTION: A flow of air moving in axially from upstream is spiraled and flows out with an upstream cascade passage comprising a proper number of upstream blades 1. The whiling air flow is turned back to an axial air flow with a downstream cascade passage comprising a proper number of downstream blades 6 to be discharged. Therefore, a flow of particles is also spiraled with the upstream cascade passage and the spiraling thereof is removed with the downstream cascade passage. As a result, a torque T1 is measured by a torque detection means 5 in the upstream cascade passage and a torque T2 is measured by a torque detection means 10 in the downstream cascade passage. A flow rate of powdery material is computed by an arithmetic circuit based on a hourly correlation between the torques T1 and T2 and the difference of the two torques T=Tl-T2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
