POLYESTER THICK-AND-THIN YARN AND KASURI WEAVE-TONE WOVEN OR KNIT FABRIC PRODUCED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester thick-and-thin yarn capable of producing a woven or knit fabric in which light colored KASURI weave-tone (splashed pattern) appears in the longitudinal direction of the yarn when dyed and a KASURI weave-tone woven or knit fabric produced of the yarn. ;CONSTITUTION: This polyester thick-and-thin yarn is composed of a polyester multifilament yarn having a variation of the fineness of yarn in the longitudinal direction. In a histogram of mass distribution in the longitudinal direction of the polyester filament yarn, the mass (P) corresponding to the highest frequency is larger than the average mass (X) and L₂ which is the difference between (P) and the minimum mass (B) is larger than L₁ which is the difference between (P) and the maximum mass (A).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
