Cultivation of hematopoietic stem cells and its genetic engineering (CULTURING OF HEMATOPOIETIC STEM CELLS AND THEIR GENETIC ENGINEERING)

Human hematopoietic stem cells may grow as a hematopoietic stem cell itself or in combination with other interest, especially during long-term culture, particularly during co-culture with appropriate epilepsy cell lines, in particular in the presence of leukemia inhibitory factors. Cells are found to possess their function as evidenced by their ability to form T-cell in vivo T-cell assays and other lineage colonies in methylcellulose. Transformation of cells can be made up of viruses, in which improved results are obtained in the presence of leukemia inhibitors and optionally other hematopoietic factors.
