METHOD OF EVALUATION OF CONTAMINATION OF WATER BASINS

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: samples of phytoplankton are taken from investigated and standard water basins, number of live and dead cells is estimated and indices of king Shannon's variety for live and dead cells are calculated separately. Obtained data are compared and used water basin is considered contaminated in case of statistically reliable distinctions of experimental data from those of test. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of method.
