FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking soil sample and fractionating it by particle size. Novelty resides in taking additionally at least a 0.5 kg control sample of soil non-cultivated for at least four years, fractionating it through a column of sieves for 30 s and determining the percentage of non-aggreggated elementary soil particles in resulting fractions with relation to initial mass of control sample, and their total content which latter is taken to be a minimum content Cmin of non-aggreggated elementary soil particles in this particular soil, then determining their maximum content Cmax by the relation Cmax= Cmin/0,382 and the interval Cmax-Cmin which is taken for the reference value. Then Cфакт is determined in the sample by the method of determining Cmin and by comparing it with reference interval a decision is made as to whether the given type of cultivation is acceptable for the given type of soil. EFFECT: higher accuracy and completeness of estimation.
