METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING PSYCHICAL DEVELOPMENT OF A CHILD WITH PERINATAL ENCEPHALOPATHY IN HIS FIRST YEAR OF LIFE

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves testing vision function, audition function, expressive speech, oral automatism reflex, vision motor coordination in 1-3 months old child. If the total rating is evaluated as 9-12 points with sensory function and emotions being evaluated at the highest rank, slight delay in psychic development is diagnosed. The case of 6 to 9 points is diagnosed as moderate delay level. Severe delay is diagnosed, when the value is less than 6 points. Impressive speech is to be additionally tested at the age of 3 to 6 months. If the total rating is 10 to 14 points and sensory functions are evaluated at the highest rank, slight delay in psychical development is diagnosed. If the total rating is 10 to 14 points, moderate delay level is diagnosed. The case of the value being below 7 points is diagnosed as severe delay. Phonemic hearing is to be assessed at the age of 6 to 10 and 10 to 12 month. The case of 12 to 16 points and preserved hearing function, impressive speech and emotions is diagnosed as slight delay in psychical development. The case of 8 to 12 points is diagnosed as moderate delay and the case of less than 7 points is diagnosed as severe delay. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in evaluating severity level of cerebral pathologic disturbances. 2 tbl
