Lagging anchoring mat for roadway support of tunnels

The anchoring mat (1) consists of longitudinal and transverse wires, whose squares and rectangles serve as anchor passages and the mat application to the rock for retaining of stowing and backpacking material, possibly using a fine wire mesh cover. The mat consists of stable longitudinal (20,21) and transverse rods (15) and is hingeably coupled at long sides (11) to adjacent lagging anchor mats (8,9). The hinges (10,12) permit folding of several mats in an concertina manner.
