PURPOSE: To obtain a CAD/CAM device which supports the design and manufacture of metal mold by automatically plotting a drawing, generating data on key groove machining, and generating NC data only by selecting a defined hole and inputting parameters as to a key and a key groove for component fixation. ;CONSTITUTION: This metal mold CAD/CAM device is equipped with a figure definition part 4a which plots a figure, a component data base registration part 4b which registers figure information on components fitted to the metal mold, a hole data base registration part 4c which registers figure information on a component fitting hole, a component fitting part 4d which specifies the positions where components and holes are fitted to the metal mold, and a key definition part 4g which inputs the shapes of the keys and key grooves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
