PURPOSE: To utilize heat recovered effectively by recovering waste heat of hot water left in a bathtub as discarded without being re-used in the past. ;CONSTITUTION: In the recovery of waste heat, a controller 4 sends a signal to three-way valves 31 and 32 and makes the valves 31 and 32 open to get a pipeline 30 for recovering waste heat, a pipeline 13a and an outgoing circulation pipe 16 communicate with one another. As a result, hot water left in a bathtub 17 reaches the pipeline 30 for recovering waste heat via the first three- way valve 31 from the return circulation pipe 16 and it undergoes a heat exchange with city water flowing through the pipeline 8a in a water-water heat exchanger 33 arranged in the course of the pipeline 30 for recovering waste heat.
