INSTRUMENT AND METHOD FOR MEASURING REACTION TIME OF PATIENT AGAINST VISUAL STIMULUS

PURPOSE: To provide an instrument for measuring reaction time of patient against visual stimulus with which the reaction time of a patient can be measured in accordance with various discrimination levels and indexes which are more closer to reacting ability of the patient experienced by the patient in its everyday life. CONSTITUTION: An instrument for measuring reaction time of patient against visual stimulus is provided with a displaying section 3 which displays a stimulus in accordance with an inputted training program, left- and right-side floor reaction force gauges 1L and 1R which discriminate the presence/absence of a patient P which acts upon seeing the stimulus displayed on the displaying section 3, and control section 2 which detects the reaction of the patient P from the output signals of the gauges 1L and 1R and measures the time until the reaction of the patient P is detected after the stimulus is displayed on the displaying section 3 as the reaction time of the patient P.
