PURPOSE: To provide a teaching material selecting method capable of presenting the teaching material of a succeeding stage even when a certain teaching target can not be learned in an intellectual education system and an intellectual education supporting system. ;CONSTITUTION: This teaching material selecting method is provided with a teaching material extracting means for extracting all teaching materials whose selection flags are off, a teaching material selecting means 33 for selecting one of the extracted teaching materials and turning on its selection flag, a challenge managing means 32 for turning on a challenge flag of a teaching target for the learning of the selected teaching material, and a learning managing means 31 for judging whether the teaching target of the teaching material selected by the means 33 is learned or not, and when the target is learned, turning on a learning flag of the teaching target.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
