PURPOSE: To provide a hollow yarn membrane module for removing an organic halon dissolved in water in which a sag is not caused and utilization factor of the membrane face of the hollow yarn membrane is high and its production is easy and to provide a method for efficiently and easily removing the organic halon dissolved in water. ;CONSTITUTION: A hollow yarn membrane module for removing an organic halon dissolved in water is constituted by providing a hollow yarn membrane- winding body 4 in which a hollow yarn membrane 3 is cross-wound on a porous hollow core member 6 and separating space for ventilation gas from space for an aqueous solution while keeping the hollow yarn membrane 3 as a boundary membrane. Gas is ventilated at flow rate of 5-200 times of amount of treated water by using the hollow yarn membrane module.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
