PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona source operable with low energy, which is used in fluid waste treatment and automobile exhaust gas treatment. SOLUTION: This corona source is provided with a conductive coil 4 having a radio frequency input receiver 8, a corona discharge position 10 located on a coil 4 isolated from a radio frequency input and a reference electrode 2 capacitance coupled to the coil 4. The pitch and length of the coil 4 from the radio frequency input receiver 8 to the corona discharge potion 10 is selected so as to generate corona discharge from the corona discharge position 10 in response to a radio frequency input signal with fixed frequency and voltage.
