WASHING DEVICE FOR ROTARY DRUM-TYPE ROLLING DRYER FOR TEA MANUFACTURING

PURPOSE: To provide a washing device equipped with a pressurized water jet nozzle inside the side plate fixed on the side of a rotary drum, designed to wash a rotary drum-type dryer for tea manufacturing under revolution of the rotary drum, thus enabling the dryer to be kept clean. ;CONSTITUTION: A pressurized water jet nozzle 4 is set up inside the side plate 3 fixed on the side of a rotary drum 2. Tea incrustations stuck on the inner surface of the rotary drum, the rolling press hands 5 and revolving shaft 6 inside the drum are detached by the pressure of the water spouting from the jet nozzle to effect washing the dryer. During the above operation, there is no need of halting the machine which can be washed prior to hardening of tea incrustations easily in a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
