INVESTIGATION OF CONTACT PARTS OF PACIFIC OCEAN PLATE, COCOS PLATE AND NAZCA PLATE AND PREDICTION OF ABNORMAL WEATHER AND LARGE EARTHQUAKE BY EL NINO EVENT

PURPOSE: To investigate contact parts of the Pacific Ocean Plate, the Cocos Plate and the Nazca Plate and to predict an abnormal weather and a large earthquake due to an El Nino event. ;CONSTITUTION: An extraordinary natural phenomenon which is said in Japan in the past refers to an abnormal weather by due to an El Nino event and to a large earthquake due to a plate movement. Contact parts of the Pacific Ocean Plate, the Cocos Plate and the Nazca Plate as the cause of the El Nino event are investigated, and the abnormal weather due to the El Nino event and the large earthquake are predicted so as to make preparations for them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
