PURPOSE: To improve a well-known purifying facility for sand by dealing with the problem that soil pollution is becoming worse and demand for purity of purified sand is becoming higher. ;CONSTITUTION: In the purifying facility for sand 5 having a container 6 provided with an inlet for a suspension of water and sand and an outlet of purified water, a lamella 7 which is arranged in the container 6 and is provided with regions of ruggedness of corrugated shape and a screw conveyor 12 at a deepest part of the container 6, air nozzles 14 are installed at a region of the screw conveyor 12 in order to introduce gas into sedimentary suspended sand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
