PURPOSE: To provide a coolant supplying device for both a dry type cutting grinding wheel and a wet type cutting grinding wheel, which can efficiently supply the coolant to a cutting work point in both dry type cutting and wet type cutting. ;CONSTITUTION: A rectifying cowling 2, which can rectify and pressurize the coolant with vanes, is installed into the side surface 11 of a cutting grinding wheel 1, which transmits the air or liquid, and a shield 6 for preventing the dispersion and flow-out of the coolant is interposed in the side surface 11 of the grinding wheel 1, and a rectifying shield 7 is fitted to the side surface 11 of the grinding wheel 1, and the coolant flowed into a porous body of the grinding wheel l can be forcedly discharged or supplied in the only radial direction of the periphery of the grinding wheel 1, which includes a cutting process point G, through from a medium inlet 4 to a medium outlet 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
