摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance, by reacting an alkali metallic salt of 4,4'-thio or oxydiphenol with an alkali metallic salt of p-chlorobenzoic acid in the presence of a 8-quinolinol copper complex catalyst in a solvent such as sulfolane, etc., under heating. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I (M is alkali metal; X is O or S) is reacted with an alkali metallic salt of p-chlorobenzoic acid in a molar ratio of 1:2.0 in the presence of a 8-quinolinol copper catalyst in an aprotonic polar solvent (especially sulfolane) under heating at 150-200 deg.C for 10-50hr and neutralized to give a compound shown by formula II. The catalyst may be previously prepared and added to a reaction system and a copper halide (e.g. CuCl or CuBr) and 8-quinolinol are separately added to the reaction and the complex may be formed. EFFECT:The aimed substance may be obtained in high purity and in high yield. USE:A heat-resistant high polymer material, etc.
