PURPOSE: To obtain a fabric excellent in cutting resistance, heat resistance, remarkably improved in abrasion resistance and suitable for use fields in which high functional property is required, e.g. severe sports or working clothes. ;CONSTITUTION: This spun yarn consists essentially of an aromatic polyamide staple and a polyamide staple having ≤60% breakage elongation. The spun yarn contains at least 20wt.% of the aromatic polyamide staple and at least 20wt.% of the polyamide staple and the spun yarn is excellent in cut resistance, heat resistance and abrasion resistance.
