PURPOSE: To shorten the time required to construct a continuous underground steel wall and to enhance the efficiency of construction. ;CONSTITUTION: Each segment 1 comprises a casing 11 in the form of a rectangular solid open on its upper and lower sides and concrete 2 filling the casing 11 and solidified. The casing 11 is formed by flange steel plates 7, 8 and web steel plates 9, 10, and male joints 4 are provided at the flanged side ends of one of the flange steel plates 7, 8 and female joints 3 that are configured to be capable of being coupled to the male joints 4 are provided at the flanged side ends of the other flange steel plate.
