PURPOSE: To readily form piles in a balanced density and to improve the bearing power of soil by throwing and filling a specific soil quality stabilizing and reinforcing material to pits bored in soft ground. ;CONSTITUTION: An expandable hardening soil quality stabilizing and reinforcing material being a mixture of (i) 40-60 pts.wt. of Portland cement, 15-35wt.% of quick lime, 10-30wt.% of an inorganic filler such as calcium carbonate or zeolite and 1-6wt.% of foamable thermoplastic synthetic resin particles, becoming hollow particles having ≥20 times the volume of the mixture by steam at 80°C is thrown and filled into pits bored in soft ground and hardened piles are formed being accompanied with heat generation and expansion due to permeated and absorbed water from water in soil to execute the method for soft ground reinforcing pile foundation work.
