PURPOSE: To obtain a single lens reflex camera capable of unnecessitating a focal-plane shutter essential in the conventional camera. ;CONSTITUTION: This single lens reflex camera is provided with a mirror slit body disposed between a photographing lens 11 and a photographing recording medium 27, a pair of mirrors 32L and 32R provided on the mirror slit body, alternatively positioned on the optical axis of the lens 11, giving a luminous flux transmitted through the lens 11 to a finder system and positioned on the same plane and a slit 33 positioned between a pair of mirrors 32L and 32R, a reciprocating slide mechanism reciprocating the mirror slit body in the plane direction of a pair of mirrors 32L and 32R and in a direction where the slit 33 crosses the photographic image plane of the medium 27, and a photographing control mechanism 44 controlling the reciprocating slide mechanism for the mirror slit body so that a pair of mirrors 32L and 32R of the mirror slit body may be alternatively positioned on the optical axis of the lens 11 in the case of observation and the slit 33 may cross the photographic image plane to give subject light to the medium 27 in the case of photographing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
