Parasols usually include a parasol cloth, support means for the parasol cloth and a support pole. Hitherto, the parasol cloth has been composed of a number of (for example 8) segments which are stitched, sewn, stuck, etc. to one another. Many parasols are used for advertising purposes, in which case firstly, inter alia, the segments are printed, and then they are stitched, sewn, stuck, etc. to one another. It is now proposed to produce a parasol in which the parasol cloth is made from a single piece.
