Plastic game bowls made from polypropylene@! containing additive and/or dye - are of semi-professional or professional standard, hygienic, non-toxic and have good weight to dimension ratio, dimensional stability and impact resistance

A method to produce plastic bowls in which polypropylene is mixed with an additive and/or dye after suitable dosing and is introduced into a moulding press, heated to 180-210[deg]C, and then injected into a mould, where it is kept under a further pressure for 20-60 seconds, the product then being extracted and cooled in water before removal of flash so as to produce the bowl. Also claimed is the bowl itself. Pref. the mould is kept at a temperature of 50-60[deg]C. The injection pressure is between 700 and 1000 bar. The press includes a closure nozzle. The additive can be either powdered wood, a mixture of elastomers, talc, fibres, or mineral powder or a combination.
