BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an automatic traveling steering system for a trackless crane, and more particularly, to an automatic steering system for a trackless crane capable of safely maintaining a traveling state of a crane by detecting a traveling state using a gyro and a global position reader in parallel. This device emits a radio wave from the global position reader to the satellite, and the emitted radio wave is reflected through the satellite and receives again the radio wave to read the traveling position of the crane. In addition, the traveling direction is detected using the gyro, and the speed of the left and right wheels is increased or decreased through the steering controller and the master PLC together with the travel position detected by the global position reader, thereby steering the crane. As such, the automatic steering system of the trackless crane according to the present invention detects the position using the satellite, so that it can be detected accurately because it is hardly influenced by the environment and buried the guide wire. Therefore, No work is required. In addition, because of the above-mentioned reasons, the facility cost is low and accurate steering can be achieved.
