METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF NOISES GENERATED BY REMOTE SHIPS IN SHALLOW SEA

FIELD: hydroacoustic measurements. SUBSTANCE: method involves non-directed reception of dynamic sea noises and noises caused by remote ships in given underwater position of controlled area, and conversion of received acoustic noise to power spectrum. Non-directed underwater acoustic detector is used for reception. Simultaneously with non-directed reception of noises they are received in given underwater position of controlled area by two directed receivers correspondingly from bottom and surface. Received noises are also converted to power spectrum and sum of power spectrum of noises from bottom and surface are subtracted from power spectrum of noises received in non-directed reception.
