FIELD: analytical chemistry, veterinary, medicine, biotechnology, food industry. SUBSTANCE: platinum and palladium complexes of new substituted porphyrin-ketones. Sensitive member for optical determination of oxygen in liquid or gaseous medium - polystyrene-formed article with distributed platinum or palladium complexes of new substituted porphyrin-ketones in it which is used as phosphorescent dye. Sensitive member is made as film (thickness is 1-20 mc) that can be fixed on solid backing or optical member. Formed article can contain oxygen-dependent enzyme layer. Method of oxygen determination involves the use of this sensitive member which is contacted with sample to be analyzed and connected by optical fiber with phosphorescence detector at optimal sensitivity at 700-850 nm. Sensitive member sensitivity is excited by light-diode at the range of dye absorption and recorded its at impulse regimen at optimal emission value at the range 570-630 nm. Oxygen concentration is calculated by value of intensity and/or phosphorescence life time on the basis of monoexponential property of phosphorescence damping. Platinum and palladium complexes of new substituted porphyrin-ketones have quantum yields and phosphorescence life time similar with porphyrin complexes and intense absorption band at the range 560-620 nm. Shift value of visible absorption band is 50-60 nm as compared with that of metal-porphyrin. Phosphorescence is shifted to long-wave region by about 100 nm.
