FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: bis-[3-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propyl] -disulfide (Ia) or 2,2'-trithiobis-(4-ethyl-6-tert. -butylphenol) (Ib). Synthesis of Ia is carried out from corresponding substituted mercaptane and KOH in ethanol medium at air bubbling at boiling. Yield is 81%, m. p. is 98-100 C. Synthesis of Ib is carried out from 4-ethyl-2-tert. -butylphenol and S2Cl2 in hexane medium at cooling to (-20)-(-30) C. Yield is 30%, m. p. is 97-98%. Indicated addition taken at amount 1-1.5 wt. -% to polyamide-6 increases its strength by 10-30% and fatigue longevity by 1.5-1.7 fold. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, enhanced quality. 1 tbl
