The flowmeter comprises a thermally sensitive resistor (3) immersed in a measurement liquid and in series with a resistor (R1) and a second series circuit contg. resistors (4,R2) in parallel with the first series circuit to form a bridge circuit. The thermally sensitive resistor is heated so that a liquid flow rate is detected via radiation. The resistor values are set so that the bridge is balanced when a thermally sensitive resistor heating value reaches a defined level. The voltage (Vb) at the node between the thermally sensitive resistor and the first resistor is set to a defined output voltage. ADVANTAGE - Has low flow rate signal temp. characteristic error. Accuracy ensured over entire flow rate measurement range.
