Profitable and accurate method of moulding a plastic wheel and bearing

Multi-component injection moulding machine (1) for plastic, has a novel, fixed central tool (2), improving accuracy, and making a low cost, integral bearing. The complementary forms (11,15), which converge onto it (2), along guides (11,15), make a closed cavity (3,16) for the injection stage. Their paths, mutually perpendicular, intersect at the terminal position. Also claimed is a plastic wheel body and tyre of different plastic, injected in the forms (11,15) described. After moulding the body, the first (11) retracts, and the tyre mould (15) substitutes it. For this purpose the moulds (11,15) have mutually perpendicular planes of separation (4,20). Also claimed is the method of mfr. of the wheel, as described.
