Self-testing personnel safety monitoring system with switch=off detection point

The safety mechanism, especially for the safety of operatives is used in conjunction with an electronic tactile sensor measurement device (4.1, 4.2) with evaluation circuitry uses a measurement device (M) with continuous monitoring of the output signals in active and inactive conditions. The monitoring circuits (4.1, 4.2) detect a voltage interruption in conductors within the safety mechanism and its components, and indicates conditions of 'active', 'inactive' and 'broken connection'. The equipment has an automatic self test.
