The system uses a process data-modelling computer to implement the microscopic cell models (1) and this also uses axiomatic rules (3) and specific topographic features (4). Outputs are generated by detectors and extractors (2) for input to semantic nets (6) and Petri nets (7). Comparisons and test mechanisms (8) are applied to refine the model. Filtered process data (10, 11) is fed into the process. For a multi phase fluid process the lattice gas cell model is combined with the boundary conditions.
