The vehicle of less than 4 tonnes carries an 8kW generator (1) with a complementary mains power connector (2), a vibration-damping floor (3) of less than 10m2 resistant to chemical attack, a photographic negative and paper puller with chemical tanks (5) and self-priming pumps (6), a number of special anaerobic storage containers (16) and preferably 100l of underfloor effluent storage (7). Levelling of the vehicle is by automatic or manual hydraulic jacks (8). The editorial equipment includes a video screen (10), a colour printer (11), a scanner, and a microcomputer (13) with a keyboard and a digitising table.
