PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure and inspect each member with high workability and high reliability for examining the occurrence of unexpected dislocation at the axial center position thereof by holding and making rotatable a square water channel formed out of each member jointed with a welding means. SOLUTION: This device is formed out of a plurality of rows of rotary shaft holding tools 11 laid on a surface plate 10, rotary tightening chucks 12 having a chucking square shaft hole 20a to be coupled to a square water channel 1 by a plurality for the holding thereof, and a rotary power mechanism 14 for applying torque to the chucks 12 for rotating the square water channel 1 loaded on the rotary shaft holding tools 11. Also, the rotary tightening chucks 12 have the internal female threads 21b of a tightening ring 21 screwed and coupled to the tightening external male threads 20c of the square tube chucking annular body 20 thereof. As a result, a tightening tapered peripheral surface 20d with many shrinkage slits 20 is pressed with shrinkage tapered peripheral surface 21 to compress the square chucking annular body 20, thereby firmly holding the square water channel with the chucking square shaft hole 20a.
