PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to supply plural kinds of metal ions with a long life by supplying a DC current between a first electrode and second electrode selected from an arbitrary combination of copper, silver, tin, zinc, chromium and their alloys and constituting these electrodes in such a manner that the energization direction thereof is made variable. ;SOLUTION: A water feed pipe 1 made of polyvinyl chloride is internally provided with a copper pipe 2 which is the first electrode having the ability to suppress the proliferation of microorganisms and a tin round rod 7 which is housed therein and is the second electrode having the similar suppressing ability. The peripheral surface part of the water feed pipe 1 is radially bored with threaded holes 3 into which external screws are screwed until the front ends of these external screws 4 come into contact with the outer peripheral part of the copper pipe 2. The peripheral surface part of the tin rod 7 is also bored with threaded holes 8 into which the front ends of the external screws 9 penetrating the water feed pipe 1 are screwed. The respective screws are energized as lead terminals so as to change over the polarities of the DC current at every specified time.
