PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make it possible to contrast the positions, etc., between a vector map and a paper map by providing the system with an interactive control processing section, retrieval processing, electronic map/paper map correspondence data section, data conversion section and display processing section. ;SOLUTION: The interactive control processing section 24 executes input and reading while the display contents of a display device 22 are instructed by a mouse. The retrieval processing section 25 retrieves the map to be blotted from the electronic map 31 stored in an external memory 30 and sends the map into a memory device 23 to store the map therein. The vector map/paper map correspondence processing section 26 detects whether the assigned position on the vector map is what position on the paper map cooperatively with the processing section 24, the retrieval processing section 25 and the display processing section 27. The display processing section 27 reads the map data of the memory device 23 and displays the data on the display device 22.
